The pieces are joined by a hole in the center with a wooden dialstick that joins them. The design can vary due to the mobility of the pieces.

The brass piece is 8.5cm in Diameter and 3.7cm in height
​
​​The candle can be used directly in the stone but must be removed before it completely finishes and becomes liquid (at about 3cm in height remove it)
​
​If wax falls on the stone it can easily be removed with boiling water.
